ASCEND ( Addiction Support Center of Excellence and Neurobehavioral Development ) is a substance use and co-occurring disorders treatment center that provides comprehensive care to those suffering from substance use disorders with or without psychiatric disorders.
ASCEND’s treatment philosophy involves the comprehensive and integrated evaluation and management of those suffering from substance use disorders with or without co-occurring psychiatric illnesses utilizing a person centered approach to addressing their mental and physical health needs. The care is provided across multiple treatment levels along a continuum of settings that involves inpatient high intensity medically monitored residential inpatient, partial hospital program and intensive outpatient as well as outpatient care settings.
The multidisciplinary treatment team including physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, therapists, chemical dependency counselors and case managers/ care coordinators ensures that each patient’s needs are addressed in a personalized care coordinated fashion.
